Position Description
Essential Job Functions:
· Assists with admissions events for all CDA campuses, including facility set up, hospitality, supplies, and attendance.
· Creates and maintains the schedules/registration system for admissions events, testing, observations, classroom visits, and interviews.
· Maintains admissions sections of public website, calendar, and campus welcome pages.
· Manages ordering/updating/printing/collating admissions literature and supplies.
· Creates and analyzes surveys and reports related to prospects, applications, enrollment, re-enrollment, transfer requests, withdrawals and exit surveys.
· Maintains (modifies, updates, solves issues) software systems in support of admissions, re-enrollment, and Church Reference Update.
· Maintains procedures and training documentation for the admissions department.
· Assists with onboarding of new students to ensure a smooth hand-off to campus staff.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Essential Job Requirements:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
EXPERIENCE
Computer science/systems background.
First-hand knowledge of Christian, classical, and collaborative educational model.
Previous admissions experience a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Broad base of general clerical, office management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and people skills.
· Experience with computerized information systems.
· Comfortable with learning, modifying, and maintaining online software systems.
· Ability to troubleshoot software issues and work with technical support as needed.
· Proficiency with Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, and Survey Monkey.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Works in an environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a diverse array of contacts.
May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
Be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
Work primarily in a traditional climate-controlled office environment.
Be on campus for monthly admissions events Oct. – Apr. (typically Tues., Wed., Thurs. mornings).
