Position Description

Part-Time Sous Chef

Job Summary
·      The part-time sous chef will report to the Kitchen Manager and help with the daily operating functions of the kitchen
·      This is a salaried position working 4 days a week from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. working only on days when the school is in session

Job Duties
·      Prepare and cook food for school community, set table, provide clean-up assistance and support school events

Qualifications:
ServSafe Certified
Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a commercial kitchen, school kitchen, or high-volume restaurant
Ability to multi-task
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices
Team-orientated with excellent communication skill sets

Associates or Bachelors degree required.
