Position Description

Liberty Classical Academy is seeking a Christ-centered leader to serve as our next Head of
School. LCA is a Christian,classical, hybrid school approaching its 30th anniversary with a
strong established community. This role requires a deep commitment to Christian education and
a desire to cultivate a school culture shaped by intellectual virtue, moral formation, and a joyful
pursuit of truth.

● Serving Pre-K to 12 with a student body of 170

● Located in beautiful western Colorado with strong community ties
The Opportunity
The Head of School serves as the chief executive and spiritual leader of the school, providing
oversight of academics, culture, faculty, and operations while advancing the mission and vision
of the school in partnership with parents and the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide spiritual, instructional, and organizational leadership aligned with LCA’s mission,
vision, and Statement of Faith
● Leads the planning of academic and instructional programs and services to improve the
achievements and learning of all students
● Oversee daily operations, admissions, facilities, and school culture
● Collaborate with the Board on strategic planning and long-term sustainability
● Serve as the primary fundraising ambassador to donors, churches, and the broader
community
Qualifications
● A mature, follower of Jesus Christ committed to a local church.
● Strong alignment with Christian hybrid classical education
● Proven leadership experience in education or a related field
● Excellent communication, conflict resolution and relational skills
