Classroom & Recess Aide

Position Description

Morning Star Academy is looking for a classroom & recess aide.  In addition to overseeing the Lower School recesses, this person will assist in the first grade and kindergarten classes. This is a Monday through Friday position with an anticipated 7 ½ hours of work per day.  The position requires learning the basic student expectations in the halls and at recess and an understanding of the procedures that protects the safety of the students.  In addition, the position will require learning the processes and procedures in the kindergarten and first grade classes.  The aide may occasionally be asked to assist teachers with grading their students’ daily work.
