Position: Head of School / Principal

Veritas Christian School is in it’s 47th year bringing a Christ Centered Education to the Douglas County community.  Our mission is To Educate The Whole Student With the Whole Truth of Jesus Christ.  We offer a classical education experience for Pre-K – 12th grades with current enrollment of approximately 200 students.  We are in the final stages seeking accreditation through the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS).  Veritas Christian School offers programs in art, drama, choir, and band for students to participate in as well as plenty of sports opportunities starting in 6th grade.

The board of directors is seeking a confident person who will carry out the mission and vision while leading VCS as the Head of School / Principal.  Candidates should have experience within the following areas:

• Educational Leadership: Overseeing the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum to ensure it aligns with the mission of Educating The Whole Student With The Whole Truth Of Jesus Christ.
• Administrative Oversight: Managing daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation, to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Community Engagement: Building and nurturing relationships with parents, students, faculty, and the broader community to foster a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
• Strategic Planning: Setting long-term goals and directions for the school, ensuring its growth and sustainability while staying true to its core values.

This is a full-time salaried position.  Benefits for this role include 401K and waived tuition for school aged children attending VCS.
