Workshop Speaker

Beginning and Enhancing your College and Career Counseling

This is a practical workshop for beginning College Counselors, or for schools beginning a College and Career program or Alumni relations to their schools. We will go over 1) testing at school or home using the CLT, SAT. or ACT; 2) the schedule for the years of high school and the binders we start freshman out with; 3) how to help students cast a vision with their parents that goes with your profile of a graduate.

Ursela Trantham taught 5th grade at Cedar Tree Classical Christian School for 21 years. She is also certified as a College and Career Counselor through NACCAP and has been Cedar Tree’s College and Career Counselor for the last 8 years. Life circumstances prevented her from pursuing a continuous secondary education, and she is dedicated to helping students as they prepare for college. Ursula has a certificate in Biblical Studies from Multnomah School of the Bible, and a two-year certificate from Western Seminary, along with an associate of arts degree. She and her husband, Tim, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this year. Tim and Ursela have two adult children who attended Cedar Tree kindergarten through 12th grade, graduated from college, and are now married.
