I will introduce teachers to the methods and assignments I use in my 9th-grade Logic class to teach students the skills of argument construction and on-the-spot thinking. Participants will go through this process in the session. This will help teachers develop tools to inculcate critical listening, debate, and discussion skills in students. The goal is to cultivate students who can listen and discuss with others intelligently, wisely, and persuasively.
