Upper School Math Teacher

Position Description

Do you see artistry in numbers, love puzzles and proofs, and desire to teach students about the order God wove throughout the universe? We are seeking a math teacher for grades 6th – 12th. If you desire to share the wonder of mathematics with young people, please contact us!

Naperville Christian Academy (NCA) has been educating students grades Preschool – 12 for over 25 years in the western suburbs of Chicago.  We are a tightly-knit – devoted – creative – and exceedingly motivated group of educators who work hard and play hard, too.  Together we joyfully exalt our Lord, Jesus Christ and pursue the good, the true, and the beautiful.

The ideal candidate will:

Teach honors level math classes from Math 6 through AP Calculus.
Inspire students to enjoy math and appreciate the order of God’s creation
Collaborate with other faculty to integrate learning across Upper School
Mentor students in godly character development
Continue to grow professionally
Work alongside Lead Teachers to further improve our math program
Facilitate math placement tests for incoming 6th grade students
Optional: run Math Club
