Faith Christian Academy (MO)

Faith Christian Academy (“FCA”) is a Prekindergarten-12th grade Christian, classical, collaborative school in the Kansas City area.The unique blend of classroom instruction three days a week and school-at-home learning two days a week encourages a strong partnership between parent educators and classroom teachers. Instruction at Faith Christian Academy is centered around six core values: 

• Christ must be in all FCA does.
• Each child is known and loved.
• The goal of instruction is excellence with grace.
• FCA personnel must be worthy of emulation.
• FCA aims to form the affections of each child.
• FCA aims to honor what endures.

Students’ hearts are intentionally cultivated toward loving God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength; they are taught in a manner that equips them to think, write, and speak eloquently in order to live a life of virtue in the likeness of Christ.

Faith Christian Academy is purposeful in fostering community among its students, parents, and teachers in order to promote a culture of study and character.   

FCA seeks to glorify God by serving Christian parents to promote in their children a devotion to Jesus Christ through a Christian, classical, and collaborative education. We aim to eternally impact the coming generations for Jesus Christ by educating and equipping students to be convinced of Truth, delighted by Beauty, and committed to Goodness.

FCA has the distinction of being the first classical, Christian, collaborative school accredited by the Association of Classical Christian Schools (“ACCS”). Additionally, FCA was established in 2003, almost 25 years ago. FCA has also been named in the top ten of classical Christian schools by the Classical Learning Test (“CLT”) based on test scores in 2023-2024 (note-CLT no longer ranks schools). FCA has received local accolades including, most recently, being named among the top four private schools in Kansas City (Ingram’s, 2025) based on SAT scores and tuition.

Additionally, secondary students (sixth-twelfth grade), as a result of House service projects throughout the Kansas City area, have given FCA a presence in such places as Harvesters, City Union Mission, and Giving the Basics.

FCA Knights’ student-athletes and fine arts students compete alongside students from across Missouri in the Missouri State High School Activities Association (“MSHSAA”) conference, 1A division.

FCA serves the Greater Kansas City area.
