Upper School Humanities Teacher

Position Description

Part-time, starting November 2024,
Trinity administration is seeking a dynamic, experienced upper school humanities teacher at our university model school. Trinity is in session MWF from September through May. This position is 3 class periods per day, 3 days per week.

Responsibilities include:
• teaching/guiding senior thesis writing
• teaching Omnibus: Ancients (history through literature & theology)

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Evangelical Christian committed to the local church
• Bachelor’s degree (English, Literature or history preferred)
• Passionate about educating the next generation with a Christian worldview
• Love of the Great Books
• Excellent communication/people skills
• Ability to lead and motivate with godly, Christian character
• Capable of managing a classroom with discipline and decorum
• Understanding of the Socratic method preferred
