Launching this fall, Yellowstone Classical Christian Academy located in scenic Joliet, Montana, will offer Kindergarten-4th grade for the 2024-2025 school year and will add grades yearly until expanded to K-12. Responsibilities:
● Educational Leadership: Develop and propagate the Academy’s vision, lead long-term strategic planning, align the Academy’s goals with its mission and values, oversee curriculum development and collaborate on mile tone assessment and educational innovation.
● Administrative Management: Oversee daily operations, manage budgeting and financial reporting, drive policy development and ensure compliance with regulations.
● Community Engagement: Cultivate networks, foster strong relationships with students, families and stakeholders and promote the Academy within the community.
● Spiritual Leadership: Foster a values-driven culture, lead chapel services and integrate Christian values into all aspects of Academy life.

● Student Development: Implement support services, oversee discipline, contribute to recruitment efforts and encourage extracurricular activities.
● Professional Development: Recruit and develop a high-quality teaching faculty, provide ongoing training and maintain accurate personnel records.
● Additional Responsibilities: Attend yearly Academy-related events, serve as an ex-officio member of the Board and maintain public conduct benefitting a Godly life.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Humanities) required; theology graduate degree preferred.
● Strong understanding and commitment to classical Christian education principles.
● Broad knowledge of theological and philosophical history.
● Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

● Eagerness and willingness to pursue further training and receive feedback for growth.

Work Environment:
● This is a full-time, 12-month position with occasional on-call availability for Academy emergencies. The Head of School will work from their office during the academic year and hold regular office hours in the summer.
