Math Instructor

Kenai Classical School
Position Description
Kenai Classical School is on the lookout for a dynamic Upper School Math Instructor for the 2025-2026 academic year, where you will play a vital role in shaping young learners’ lives!
We’re searching for enthusiastic educators with a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in math, science, or a related field that demonstrates a commitment to classical pedagogy. If you have at least two years of teaching experience and a love for math and character development grounded in Christian values, we want to hear from you!
At our school, we believe in inspiring students to cultivate a deeper love for learning—not just memorizing formulas. Join us in fostering a community where students not only seek mathematical understanding but also yearn for a closer relationship with God.
Imagine waking up every day to a breathtaking backdrop of Mount Redoubt, fishing on the world famous Kenai River, and hiking through the rich wilderness that Alaska has to offer. Soldotna is not just a place to live; it’s a vibrant community where outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing, and exploring nature become a part of your everyday life. If you love the outdoors, you’ll have endless opportunities to enjoy the stunning landscapes and wildlife just outside your door.
If you feel called to nurture the next generation of thinkers and leaders, we invite you to submit a cover letter detailing how your Christian faith influences your everyday life and how your experiences can enhance our vibrant learning environment.
