Founding Master Teacher – K-6 Grammar School (2026 Launch)

Position Description

The Mission: Rowan Classical Academy is dedicated to the “Grammar” of learning. We believe children are capable of greatness when given a structured, beautiful, and distraction-free environment. We utilize the Hillsdale College K-12 Program Guide to ensure our students master the tools of learning before they reach the age of logic.

The Role: You are the architect of our classroom culture. Your goal is to move a small cohort of 12 students toward mastery in a multi-grade setting.

Cultivate “First-Time Obedience”: Build a classroom where respect for the teacher and peers is the non-negotiable standard.

Master the Fundamentals: Focus on deep literacy through explicit phonics and mathematical certainty.

Partner with Parents: Work closely with a small group of committed families to ensure the habits of the school are reinforced at home.
