Position Summary

The Logic School Principal provides spiritual, academic, and administrative leadership for the Logic School (grades 6–8). This individual partners closely with the Headmaster, faculty, staff, students, and families to ensure excellence in Christian classical education while fostering a culture of discipleship, accountability, and academic growth.

Primary Responsibilities: Leadership & Academic Excellence

Provide leadership in the implementation and growth of Christian classical education.
Collaborate with the Headmaster to develop and strengthen curriculum, instruction, and educational programming.
Support curriculum review, development, and continuous improvement.
Promote academic excellence while maintaining fidelity to the mission and philosophy of Veritas Christian Academy.

Faculty Leadership

Supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate Logic School faculty.
Observe classrooms and provide meaningful instructional feedback.
Lead faculty meetings and professional development opportunities.
Develop and support mentoring and onboarding for new teachers.
Foster a collaborative, Christ-centered faculty culture.
Assist with hiring, interviewing, and retaining exceptional faculty.
Student & School Culture

Cultivate a positive, Christ-centered school culture that encourages academic growth, character development, and servant leadership.
Support faculty in matters of student discipline, parent communication, and academic concerns.
Partner with families to promote student success and healthy school relationships.
Help plan and support student programs, events, electives, and enrichment opportunities.

Administrative Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Headmaster on budgeting, planning, and school operations.
Assist with textbook and curriculum ordering.
Maintain appropriate documentation, evaluations, and faculty records.
Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
Participate in weekly administrative meetings and school events.
Being good stewards of all financials in their department

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
Previous teaching experience required; leadership or administrative experience preferred.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn Christian classical education.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to mentor, encourage, and develop faculty.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Willingness to obtain certifications if requested by Headmaster
Complete any other tasks that is requested by the Headmaster
