Christ Classical Academy is a growing classical Christian school in Tallahassee, FL, committed to cultivating wisdom and virtue in our students through a rich classical curriculum rooted in the Christian faith. We are accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and a member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS).  Currently, we serve students in grades K–3 through 12, with our first graduating class anticipated in 2026.

• Position Overview 
  Christ Classical Academy is seeking a full-time Grammar School Teacher to start full-time in a 5-grade classroom January 2026; however, we are willing to bring this person on staff to begin learning our culture and community as soon as possible.  The Grammar School Teacher plays a vital role in shaping the hearts and minds of students during their foundational years by integrating a love for learning with Christ-centered discipleship. The ideal candidate will embody a passion for classical education, a deep and active Christian faith, and a desire to partner with families in nurturing students in truth, goodness, and beauty.

  Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver engaging, Christ-centered instruction across core academic subjects aligned with the classical tradition.
• Foster a joyful, orderly, and discipleship-oriented classroom culture rooted in virtue and love of learning.
• Integrate Scripture and a biblical worldview into all aspects of teaching and classroom life.
  Assess student learning through both formative and summative measures and use results to inform instruction.
• Communicate clearly and regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school values.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty and administration as a team committed to classical Christian education.
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, professional development, and ongoing spiritual and instructional growth.

Qualifications  Required: 

• A vibrant Christian faith and active membership in a local church
• Strong alignment with the mission and philosophy of Christ Classical Academy
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• A commitment to excellence, humility, and a teachable spirit
• Desire to serve as a mentor and model of Christian character to young students

Preferred:

• Prior teaching experience or formal training in education
• Degree in elementary education or a related field
• Familiarity with or enthusiasm for classical Christian pedagogy
• Interest in long-term service and leadership within the classical Christian school movement
