Position Description

Cornerstone Christian Academy is seeking a full-time Humanities instructor to teach Humanities literature, history, and philosophy courses at the logic and rhetoric levels for the 2026-2027 school year.

CCA is a fully accredited, classical, non-denominational Christian school serving students in junior kindergarten through 12th grade, located in historic Abingdon, Virginia. Our mission is to provide an excellent, Christ-centered, college-preparatory education for the children of Southwest Virginia and Upper East Tennessee.
Our ideal candidate would display an undeniable love for Christ, students, and teaching. We are seeking an educator who has a love of learning and can cultivate meaningful relationships with our students. We would prefer a candidate who has experience and/or knowledge of classical methodology, but this is not required. A bachelor’s degree in education with Humanities experience or a related field is required.
