Position Summary

High School Faculty at CCA advance and support CCA’s mission by modeling a mature Christian faith and demonstrating a deep commitment to excellence in curriculum and instruction. This role teaches Spanish I, Spanish II, Dual Credit Spanish III, and Dual Credit AP Spanish, partnering with students, families, and colleagues to provide rigorous, college level instruction grounded in a biblical worldview and aligned with dual credit academic standards. The teacher designs and delivers a curriculum that promotes critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and mastery of advanced foreign language content while preparing students for success in postsecondary study. Through both instruction and example, the teacher models wisdom and virtue, supports campus spiritual life, and practices servant leadership. Collaboration, organization, and excellent communication are essential components of the role.

Provide visionary and inspirational leadership that prioritizes the good of the entire school, advancing excellence across all areas of responsibility in alignment with the mission and strategic priorities of the school.
Foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture by partnering with the leadership team, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring that departmental goals demonstrate a pursuit of excellence.
Develop and implement an annual operating plan that establishes clear priorities, addresses student needs, and supports school-wide initiatives within the approved budget.
Recruit, develop, and hold staff accountable to high standards of professional performance, ensuring personnel embody the mission and values of CCA while pursuing growth through evaluation and professional development.
Model professionalism, respect, and integrity in all interactions, communicating openly and consistently, responding thoughtfully to feedback, and using stakeholder survey data to guide continuous improvement for the benefit of the whole school.
(Principals Only) Provide academic leadership by aligning curriculum, instruction, and assessment within a classical, college-preparatory framework. Use data to guide curriculum decisions and monitor student progress. Lead faculty in rigorous, research-based instruction that integrates biblical truth, preparing students for success in college, career, and life, while preserving the school’s classical distinctives.

Key Role Responsibilities
Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, rigorous instruction aligned with CCA’s curriculum, mission, and biblical worldview.
Assess, document, and monitor student learning through effective evaluation practices, providing timely, constructive feedback and using data to inform instruction.
Establish and sustain a positive, well ordered classroom environment by setting clear expectations, implementing consistent behavior management, and fostering a culture of respect and engagement.
Mentor and guide students in their academic growth and spiritual development through intentional instruction, modeling, and relational investment.
Collaborate professionally with colleagues, administrators, and families through regular communication, participation in meetings and professional development, and the maintenance of accurate academic and instructional records.
Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned in support of the broader mission and operations of the school.

Qualifications
A mature and growing personal faith in Jesus Christ consistent with CCA’s Statement of Faith and an active member of a Bible believing church.
Commitment to classical Christian education and Christ-centered student development.
Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 18 credit hours in Spanish to meet dual credit eligibility requirements.
Five years prior experience in high school education or related fields preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with consistency and professionalism.

Students demonstrate measurable academic growth and increasing spiritual maturity, evidenced by assessment data, substantive classroom discourse, and mastery of curriculum standards.
Instructional plans consistently align with the curriculum and dual-credit requirements and intentionally integrate biblical truth, critical thinking, and classical pedagogy that engage and challenge all learners.
Assessments are administered consistently, evaluated promptly, and accompanied by clear, actionable feedback that supports student learning and development.
The classroom culture reflects respect, accountability, and grace, as demonstrated through high levels of student engagement, responsible conduct, and relationships grounded in truth and love.
The teacher maintains accurate and organized records, communicates proactively and professionally with families and colleagues, and participates in the CCA community.
