Position Description
The Science Teacher cultivates in students a love of truth through the careful study of God’s created order. Teaching from a distinctly Christian and classical perspective, the teacher invites students to observe, investigate, and delight in the beauty, complexity, and intelligibility of creation. Whether teaching Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or other sciences, the teacher emphasizes careful observation, logical reasoning, mathematical precision, and hands-on experimentation while helping students recognize that all truth is God’s truth. Instruction encourages wonder, intellectual humility, disciplined inquiry, and faithful stewardship as students develop scientific literacy and learn to think critically about the natural world.
