5th Grade Elementary Teacher (Full-Time)
Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool–12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and mission-driven 5th Grade Teacher to join our faculty at the White Bear Lake campus.

This full-time role is ideal for an educator who loves working with upper elementary students and is passionate about building strong academic foundations while cultivating character and a love of learning. The 5th Grade Teacher plays a vital role in preparing students for the transition into middle school through structured instruction, intentional formation, and encouragement.

Liberty Classical Academy – White Bear Lake Campus (White Bear Lake, MN)

Key Responsibilities
Lead a 5th grade classroom, providing daily instruction across core subject areas
Teach core subjects including language arts, mathematics, and other assigned content areas
Build strong foundations in reading, writing, grammar, and critical thinking
Incorporate principles of classical education, including an emphasis on language development, content mastery, and ordered learning
Integrate a Christian worldview into all areas of instruction
Develop and implement thoughtful lesson plans that support student growth and mastery
Assess student progress regularly and provide clear, constructive feedback
Maintain a structured, orderly, and positive classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and expectations
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
Contribute to the life of the school through homeroom leadership, student supervision, and faculty collaboration

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field required
Teaching experience preferred
Experience or interest in classical education strongly preferred
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to cultivate both academic excellence and Christian character
Commitment to a Christ-centered educational philosophy and agreement with Liberty’s Statement of Faith

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Starting at $42,000+, based on education and experience
