Lower School Aide

Position Description

The Lower School Aide’s responsibilities include supporting the classroom teacher with lessons and carrying out Lower School oversight, such as recess, lunch, and student arrival/dismissal duties. At our school, being a Lower School Aide requires servant-heartedness, a quickness in lending a helping hand (grading, crafting, cleaning, supporting a student), guiding students to mature holistically, and spending time outside all-year long. The Aide should model a mature Christian life, should know Scripture well, and demonstrate a love for all students in word and deed. Background in elementary education is preferred.
