About Our School Program

The Regents School of Charlottesville’s mission is to provide a classical and Christian education that equips our students to know, love and practice that which is true, good and excellent, and challenges them to live purposefully and intelligently as servants of the Lord Jesus Christ for the benefit of man and the glory of God.

About Our Community & Mission

At Regents, we seek to develop young scholars who are responsible, self-motivated, and intellectually curious students. We desire for students to have a deep love of learning that ultimately inspires them to become lifelong learners, independent thinkers, and good stewards of their gifts. Regents School of Charlottesville follows the classical Trivium approach to academics, dividing K-12 students into Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric schools. The grammar phase (K-6) incorporates memorization and learning tools that help encourage exploring, discovering, and reinforcing fundamentals. The logic phase (7-8) helps students to engage in conversation, analyze data and arguments, distinguish fact from fallacy, and develop sound rules of logic. The rhetoric phase (9-12) encourages students to prepare and articulate persuasive positions from the facts they have been learning and challenging.

What We Are Known For In The Community

Regents School of Charlottesville is the only classical, Christian school in the greater Charlottesville area, thus we are known for our unique academic model, academic excellence, and high expectations of student conduct. Additionally, Regents is gaining a reputation due to its expanding athletic program, now with eight sports offered, our freshly painted bus proclaiming Soli Deo Gloria, and our annual auction gala that connects many in the Charlottesville community with the mission of Regents.

About The Area We Serve
