For our elementary students, we offer a challenging program centered on strong language, reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, encouraging each one to join in the “great conversation” of the ages. Chapel is held each week affording the opportunity to learn more about the character of God through the story of God. With small class sizes, our exemplary teaching staff lead students through the foundational curriculum. Specialist classes are also an integral part of our program, offering physical education, Latin, music, and art.

We believe that a well-educated mind and a strong character infused with a deep faith in Christ are essential to equip each student for affecting transformative change in their community and beyond. With that in mind, our staff, together with families are committed to caring for those within our school community as well as the Tacoma community as a whole.

Located in the beautiful south Puget Sound region of the Pacific Northwest, The Cor Deo School serves the greater Tacoma area. Our families enjoy boating and fishing in Puget Sound as well as skiing and hiking in the nearby Cascade mountains. The arts are also well represented in the Tacoma area, with multiple community theaters and a variety of museums.
