Quentin Johnston

DR. QUENTIN JOHNSTON grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he worked as a scrub nurse, founded Scotland’s largest mobile pressure cleaning company, and helped pastor a church and establish a Christian school before moving to the United States with his late wife, Pam, and their son. Awarded a scholarship from the Chalcedon Foundation, Quentin pursued theological studies at Whitefield Seminary in Lakeland, Florida, earning an M.Div., and later a D.Min. and a Ph.D. in Post-Secondary Education Administration.

Now an honorably retired Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Dr. Johnston has served in pastoral and leadership roles in five churches, held board positions in three schools, and led two schools as Headmaster. He also served as Academic Dean of Whitefield College for eight years and led Whitefield Academy in Kansas City, Missouri, for another eight years. Quentin has a passion for classical Christian education and the development of generations of young men and women committed to living a life of Christian virtue to the glory of God. He currently resides in Moscow, ID.
