Position Summary:

CCA is seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to lead the school’s music instruction in our Grammar School. The ideal candidate will embrace both the Christian mission and classical pedagogy of the school, fostering a love for music that glorifies God and cultivates the affections of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach general music classes across elementary and possibly some secondary grades.
• Instruct in vocal performance, music theory, and appreciation, with opportunities for instrumental instruction.
• Direct student choirs and prepare for seasonal performances, chapel participation, and school events.
• Integrate classical Christian values and history into music instruction.
• Collaborate with faculty to support a unified educational approach rooted in biblical truth and classical tradition.

Qualifications:

• A mature Christian who affirms CCA’s Statement of Faith.
• Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field preferred; teaching experience preferred.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn the classical Christian education model.
• Ability to engage students in joyful, disciplined, and God-honoring musical instruction.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

Compensation is competitive within the Christian classical context + 100% employee insurance premiums paid
