Grammar School Teachers

Position Description

Westminster Academy, located in Tampa, FL, seeks dedicated and passionate Grammar School Teachers to join our faculty. Our mission is to cultivate wisdom and virtue in our students through the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty, grounded in the historic Christian faith and the classical tradition of education.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach students using a classical curriculum rooted in biblical truth
Integrate Scripture and biblical worldview throughout all subjects
Utilize time-tested pedagogical methods including songs, chants, copywork, narration, and recitation
Create a joyful and orderly classroom environment that fosters wonder, attentiveness, and discipline
Communicate regularly with parents, partnering with them in their child’s formation

Qualifications:

A love for Christ, children, and classical education
Bachelor’s degree required
Teaching experience preferred, but not required
Alignment with the school’s statement of faith
Eagerness to grow professionally within the classical Christian model
