Humanities Teacher (7th-10th Grade)

Position Description

Upper School Humanities Instructor, 7th-10th Grades (beginning 2nd Quarter, Oct. 13, 2025)

A passion for words and for Christ – the Word – along with a patient, unrelenting love for young people navigating the gloriously awkward joys and trials of middle school are essential for this instructional position. Through a strong background in literature, stellar oral and written communication skills, and first-rate analytical and logical reasoning, the instructor will cultivate in students’ hearts a genuine love for truth, goodness, and beauty and will encourage their growth in the Faith. Current courses taught for this position include Omnibus classes that cover history, literature, and theology for a given time period; a Poetry/Logic class that teaches basics of poetry for the first semester and an introduction to logic course for the second semester; and a Composition course that teaches our 7th graders how to craft wonderful essays.
