Position Description

Providence Classical School is a JK – 12th grade, Christ-centered, classical school, equipping students with a thorough biblical world and life view, that captures their affections, and enables them to discern, articulate, and live truth. We partner with parents to provide an excellent education grounded in the Word of God and in the classical tradition of learning.
Position overview:
The Head of School serves as the chief administrator and spiritual leader of PCS, responsible for guiding all aspects of school operations, spiritual formation, academic excellence, and community development. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a heart for discipleship, and a deep commitment to classical Christian education.
Qualifications:
·       Several years of experience as a Head of School or in a comparable senior leadership role within a classical Christian or other independent Christian school
·       A master’s degree or Ph.D. in theology, education, or a related field
·       Teaching experience
·       Demonstrated record of school growth
·       Experience managing capital campaigns and development initiatives
·       Experience managing building projects
·       Management experience with a pre-K program
·       A life that reflects a mature Christian faith and membership in an evangelical Christian church
