Director of Advancement & Student Life

Position Description

The Director of Advancement & Student Life is an essential part of the Leadership Team.
Reporting to the Head of School, the DASL oversees the full advancement scope of the
school—with a primary focus on Admissions, Enrollment, Marketing & Communications,
and a secondary, supporting role in Development alongside the Head of School. The DASL
serves as the primary steward of the school’s story to prospective families, guiding them
from first inquiry through enrollment while ensuring that admissions practices remain
missionally aligned, relationally driven, and strategically effective.
In addition to advancement responsibilities, the DASL provides tertiary leadership for
Student Life with a clear focus on retention and community health. By overseeing the House
System and key student events, this role helps cultivate a vibrant school culture that
strengthens student engagement, deepens family commitment, and supports long-term
enrollment stability. Through both Advancement and Student Life leadership, the DASL
plays a critical role in sustaining a healthy, growing, and mission-faithful school community.
