PreK Teacher

Position Description

Capstone Classical Academy is seeking a warm, Christ-centered lead teacher for our Pre-K program. We are looking for an educator who cultivates wonder and joy as foundations for a lifelong love of learning.

The Role

• Nurture the Soul: Model a love for Jesus through daily prayer, Bible stories, and kindness.

• Shape the Habits: Focus on virtue and basic habits of attention, obedience, and wonder.

• Introduce the Good: Lead students in songs, classic nursery rhymes, poems, nature study, and the beginnings of letter and number recognition.

The Candidate

• Faith-Filled: A committed Christian who views teaching as a ministry.

• Classical Heart: Someone who prefers real books, wooden toys, and hymns over screens and modern trends.

• Patient & Joyful: A teacher who can create a calm, orderly environment where young children feel safe to explore.

Requirements

• Experience working with preschool-aged children.

• Active church membership.

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent certification/experience.
