Position Description

Hickory Classical Christian School in Cookeville, TN is small, like-minded community of Protestant believers who believe classical, Christian education is a duty of parents to their children as well as a serious joy.

It seeks a part time upper division science teacher whose qualifications include experience, training, or education pertinent to effective classical pedagogy, cohesive Protestant worldview, and joyful, disciplined relationships with teenagers. HCCS is a good fit for those with high expectations for student learning, faculty culture, parent support, and wise leadership. Faculty, families, and administration of this small school are all highly experienced and qualified in the classical model, with high standards and a cohesive mind for pursuing an uncompromised classical, Christian education.
