Part-Time Campus + P.E. Assistant

Summary: The Campus Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of on-campus days by assisting the Operations Coordinator and has a keen focus on hospitality for staff, students and families. This position assists with preparing the campus day through setup and breakdown tasks. The Campus Assistant will also provide support to the P.E., Choir and Art class, as needed, as well as occasional opportunities to be a teaching substitute.

P.E. Duties 

• Assist the P.E. Instructor during classes and organized activities
• Supervise students to maintain safety, order, and appropriate conduct
• Participate in physical activities as directed by the P.E. Instructor to promote student engagement and enthusiasm
• Set up, organize, and store equipment before and after classes
• Encourage good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful behavior

Position type: Part-time. On-campus days are Monday and Wednesday, aides are on duty from 7:15am to 4:15pm, with 30 minutes for lunch.

Start date: Classes begin August 24. Training for incoming teachers and campus assistants will take place August 3-7.

Required qualifications: Agreement with and support of the school’s Statement of Faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the Classical Model of education.
