Full-Time Preschool Director

Position Description

Faculty members at Arma Dei Academy Preschool collaborate closely with the Preschool Director, Assistant Director, Teachers, and Assistants to provide an excellent classical and Christian education, founded upon a biblical worldview, that equips students to live purposefully and intelligently in service to God and others.

Qualifications

• Spiritually vibrant Christian displaying Christ-centered servant leadership that integrates faith and work in a spirit of humility
• Meets Colorado Large Center Director qualification pathways; ECPC Level 3 (or higher) required
• Working knowledge of Colorado childcare licensing requirements, compliance, staffing ratios, and health/safety practices
• Competence with scheduling, enrollment processes, and staff development
• Classical Christian Education experience preferred
• Demonstrated success leading an early childhood program with staff supervision, family communication, and operational accountability
• Contributes to a culture of respect and collaboration among colleagues
• Demonstrates self-awareness, thirst for learning, and openness to professional growth
• Loves young children and the toil of the day; approaches work with joy, patience, and diligence
• Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills

Salary – Exempt: $55,000-$70,000. The estimate represents the typical salary range of candidates hired. Factors determining actual salary include but are not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, training, and certifications, (placement within range based on ECPC level, experience, and scope of responsibility).

Hours of work: Full-time (generally aligned to program operating hours; occasional evening events/meetings as needed).
