Lower School Teacher (Various Elementary Grades)

Position Description

Greetings To All Teachers,

Here in Santa Cruz California we are on the hunt for a few good men, or women.  We’re looking for teachers.  We need a Latin teacher for 5th-8th.  We need two upper school English teachers and several grammar school teachers.

We are particularly looking for godly men and women who are A) Organized.  B) Can handle a classroom with gentleness but also possesses control.  C) Love to learn as demonstrated by their own lifestyle and habits.  D) Have a submissive and servant-hearted spirit to further the Kingdom of God through the ministry of St Abe’s.  First time teachers are welcome to apply as well.

St. Abraham’s is a TK-12th grade classical Christian school fully accredited with the Association of Classical Christian Schools.  We believe the resurgence of classical Christian education is exciting and we’ve seen children flourish in this year after year.  Our motto:  “In Christ We Disciple.”  We are a ministry of Trinity Covenant Church, a thankful member of the CREC.  We have a beautiful, outdoor California campus, and we are blessed to spread the gracious dominion of Christ in a wonderful setting close to the Monterey Bay.  The beach, riddled with juvenile Great White Sharks, is just 1.8 miles away!
