Part-Time Campus Assistant + Substitute Teacher

Position Description

Summary: The Campus Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of on-campus days by assisting the Operations Coordinator and has a keen focus on hospitality for staff, students and families. This position assists with preparing the campus day through setup and breakdown tasks. The Campus Assistant will also provide support to the P.E., Choir and Art class, as needed, as well as occasional opportunities to be a teaching substitute.

Additional Information: This position may provide opportunities for additional teaching responsibilities. While there is a possibility of a permanent teaching position, such opportunities are not guaranteed.

Position type: Part-time. On-campus days are Monday and Wednesday, aides are on duty from 7:15am to 4:15pm, with 30 minutes for lunch. Thursdays from 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. may also be available for the right candidate.

Start date: Classes begin August 24. Training for this position will happen while working on campus. Interview slots available on August 19.

Required qualifications: Agreement with and support of the school’s Statement of Faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the Classical Model of education. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
