(Hourly compensation based on experience $16.83 to $27.75)

Faith Christian School, a private classical Christian school nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking a Physical Education teacher for grades JK-5.  This is a part-time position, 22 hours per week. Applicants should have an informed understanding of the benefits physical education plays in the life of young children. In addition to the physical benefits of a strong program, understanding how physical education contributes to building virtue and character is critical. Faith Christian ascribes to a Christian classical model of education, and our faculty consistently seeks to understand and employ its proven, time-tested principles. A bachelor’s degree and experience are preferred but not required, and enthusiasm and joy a must!
