Position Description

PCA is a classical, Christian, collaborative model school that meets Tuesdays/Thursdays in-class and Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays are at-home learning days taught/facilitated by the parents. Please review our website for more details about our school.

We’re looking for a classroom teacher for any grades from pre-k thru 8th. Fall 2026 begins our third year and we’re offering grades pre-k thru 8th, and each subsequent year we’ll add another grade until we have full rhetoric school up to 12th grade.

Our growing school currently has 12 teachers for 90 students and we hope to add a few more teachers heading into the 2027-2028 school year when enrollment surpasses 100 students.

This is a part-time position, roughly 20 hours/week for about 38 weeks a year (34 weeks during the school year, 4 weeks of teacher development and preparation). The compensation will be about $19k per year, paid in quarterly amounts. There are no benefits or healthcare or retirement plans with this position.

Our aim is to help produce mature adults who love God, love children, and love learning. And our method by which PCA Teachers do that is by loving God, loving children, and loving learning.

PCA Teachers work closely with one another (staff and parents) in order to effectively collaborate on the education of each child, appropriately modifying the educational journey in order to help grow and shape the child’s heart and mind.
