An intensive program designed and led by ACCS Heads of School with real world experience in classical Christian leadership.
This course is designed for those who are looking to start a school or are in their first five years of operation.
Spanning four months, this course will provide actionable steps and realistic measurements intended to incrementally “move the ball down the field.” Each participant’s “end zone” will vary, from confirming a call to open a school, to gathering the human and financial resources, to setting in place the basic elements of planning for day one, to understanding the role of Head of School and implementing best practices in school administration. In each case, this course will strengthen your faith, enhance your understanding of classical Christian education, and allow you to benefit from others determined to serve Christ and His Kingdom through classical Christian education.
This course is led by Dr. David Seibel, Head of School at Coram Deo Academy, Carmel, IN (see bio below), and Dr. Tim Dernlan, the lead trainer for Compagnon Consulting.
Who is this for? Leadership at startup schools or at new schools in their first five years of operation.
What will I get? One-on-one answers to questions from both peers and experienced leaders who have been there, a better understanding of classical Christian education, and a plan created using specialized tools and templates.
What will I go home with? Actionable steps and realistic measurements intended to incrementally “move the ball down the field,” and a strong support network moving forward.
The Startup School Accelerator in brief:
- 4 month duration
- 6 modules
- 6 bi-weekly 60-minute group training sessions (Zoom)
- 6 bi-weekly 1:1 mentoring sessions with Dr. Seibel (Zoom or phone)
- Specially recorded videos
- Management tools specifically developed for this course and exclusive to ACCS
- Personalized Feasibility Study and Action Guide. Participants will work on this throughout the program.
Dr. Seibel will help participants chart their course forward.
