Giving Opportunities
When you give to ACCS, your gift supports classical Christian education in communities throughout our country and around the world. At this time, gifts to ACCS sponsor the following five initiatives. You may select one of the following options on the giving form or make a general donation that will be used toward the most pressing need.
Initiative 1:
Headquarters Building Purchase
NEED | $500,000
What does your gift support?
Although ACCS is over 30 years old, the office space has always been rented and has changed multiple times. Our Boise office and studio are currently located in temporary space which has been listed for sale.
The current location has a customized film studio and offices for our growing staff, which has doubled in the past three years. If we are able to make a $500,000 down payment on this property, our location will be secure and our monthly expenses will remain stable for the near future.
Initiative 2:
International Accreditation
NEED | $100,000
What does your gift support?
Interest in classical Christian education around the world is on the rise: ACCS has member schools in 18 countries, and the demand continues to grow! Our newest initiative supports schools through ACCS International Accreditation.
ACCS International Accreditation is a rigorous process which involves curriculum guidance, adherence to ACCS standards of excellence, and travel to each school location. Some of our international schools are not able to cover the cost of accreditation. Your gift allows them to move forward with a process that (in many countries) will give them more freedom after becoming accredited – another way in which ACCS schools are changing the world for Christ and His kingdom!
Initiative 3:
Teacher Training Center
NEED | $200,000
What does your gift support?
One of the greatest needs in CCE schools is quality training for teachers. The ACCS is excited to announce the launch of our in-house Teacher Training Center at the Boise Headquarters, which will provide video course instruction through the ACCS Member Resource Center for teachers in multiple subjects and grade levels.
Gifts toward the Teacher Training Center will support the studio and camera setup, travel costs for expert teachers and administrators, and the staff who are overseeing and filming this large-scale project that will benefit teachers in 500+ member schools for years to come.
Initiative 4:
Start-Up Schools
NEED | $50,000
What does your gift support?
Every year, ACCS membership includes around one hundred new start-up schools in locations all around the country. These schools usually begin with two to three grades, with hopes of quickly growing into a K-12 school. These schools need structure and support in order to survive and thrive. ACCS supports these schools through our Accelerator course, which is specifically designed for start-up school leaders, and through the ACCS Teacher Training Center, which will provide video training for classical teachers. We also hold additional events such as the ACCS Auxilium which provide support for entire administrative teams. Your gift toward start-up school support allows these fledgling schools to reduce their overhead costs and enhances their ability to get off to a strong start.
Initiative 5:
Leadership and Board Training
NEED | $75,000
What does your gift support?
The Heads of School and Boards who lead and govern classical Christian schools across the country face the daunting tasks of casting vision, shepherding teachers, loving students, partnering with parents, maintaining accountability, and standing firm against an oppressive culture. ACCS seeks to offer additional resources to school leaders through coaching and training programs. Your gift supports both in-person and virtual training specifically geared towards school leaders through Doctorum, the ACCS course for heads of school, as well as Board Governance training.
