Upper School Rhetoric and Theology

Job Description:

Agathos Classical School is seeking a 9th-12th grade rhetoric and theology teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. Courses include Historical Theology and Apologetics, with additional research guidance and coordination for Junior and Senior Theses. The ideal candidate will have a love for Christian discipleship and an expertise in research and classical oratory. Agathos Classical School is not denominationally affiliated, so a Lewisian “Mere Christianity” approach to Christian teaching is expected.

Qualifications:

The candidate must be a professing Christian.
Bachelor’s degree – humanities related field preferred.
Proficiency in classical pedagogy, including Socratic discussion.
3+ years teaching experience is preferred but not required.
