Position Description

By the grace of God, Agathos Classical School is nearly finished adding one additional section per grade in PK-12. Thus, the school continues to add teaching positions while also having nearly 100% retention among its teachers for the last several years. Soli Deo Gloria. In the lovely small town of Columbia (aka Muletown), TN, Agathos has nearly completed its 20th school year, has waiting lists in many grades, and will be graduating its 10th graduating class. The faculty and staff of Agathos come from a variety of conservative churches, are joyful, mature, and are faithful Christians with a love for and commitment to growing as mentors in truth, goodness, and beauty. Next year’s newest full time Humanities teacher will likely teach two sections of a 2-hour block of 11th grade Early Modern Humanities and one or two other preps. Master’s degree preferred. Two to three years of full-time teaching experience desired.
