UPPER SCHOOL DEAN

Position Description

Bradford Academy is located in beautiful central North Carolina. We are in our 18th year and have two campuses. We have been very blessed and are seeing continued growth!

We are looking for an Upper School Dean (essentially a campus principal) to work with the Headmaster to develop a program of continual spiritual and academic growth.

The ideal candidate will (1) have a mature, joyful, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, (2) demonstrate membership in good standing at an evangelical church consistent with the school’s Statement of Faith, (3) possess a clear calling to Christian education and an understanding of the principles of classical learning, (4) demonstrate an ability in leadership, organization, and faculty development, (5) demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills marked by humility, wisdom, and discernment, (6) hold to and orthodox and historic biblical understanding of contemporary issues (including young earth creationism), (7) hold a Master’s degree or higher, with (8) substantial classroom teaching experience and prior administrative leadership preferred.
