Position Description

Cair Paravel Latin School, located in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking a 7th-12th grade Logic/Rhetoric Principal for the 2025-2026 school year.

As Principal, this person would have direct oversight of teachers, help in issues regarding classroom management, curriculum implementation, and share the responsibilities of discipline. The Principal would report directly to the Head of School, but also work closely with the Academic Dean in curriculum evaluation and development.

The successful candidate will be passionate about sharing a love for learning and Biblical understanding that is contagious to students (182 current 7th-12th students).

Principal requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and connect with staff, students, and parents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong spiritual life/mature Christian
  • Demonstrable expertise in classical Christian education
  • Experience teaching and/or administration within a Classical school (3-5 years preferred)
