Position Description
Spiritual Expectations:
- Joyfully sign and submit to CCS’s Doctrinal Statement including the school’s statement on gender, marriage, and sexuality.
- Pursue holiness seeking to exude the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
- Pursue humility and Christ-like servant leadership.
- Have the spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Prov. 22:6, ESV).

- Is passionate about Christ-centered classical education.
- Is enthusiastic, an encourager, and a self-starter with a high energy level.
- Is good with people, demonstrating sensitivity toward staff, parents, volunteers, and children, and an ability to interact effectively with them.
- Understand the importance of discernment, discretion, and confidentiality in the operation of the school.
Education and Experience:
- Teach Latin (grades 3–12 depending on annual school needs and experience) in alignment with classical Christian pedagogy.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that integrate grammar, translation, reading, and classical culture.
- Foster a classroom environment rooted in joy, respect, and academic rigor.
- Model Christian character and cultivate a biblical worldview in students.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school-wide classical initiatives.
- Participate in school events, faculty training, and spiritual life activities.
