Position Description

Christian Life Preparatory School is a collaborative, classical Christian school serving 380 students in grades K-12. Our mission is to partner with parents who want to spend time with their children to develop spiritual maturity in each student, to provide an opportunity for academic excellence through college preparatory courses, and to illustrate love for community both locally and abroad.  Our profile of a graduate focuses on cultivating Christ-centered Relationships, Effective Communicators, and Critical Thinkers.

As a collaborative school, students in grades K-5 attend classes two days per week on a MW or TTH schedule.  The remaining three days of the week, students are at home completing instructor-prepared assignments in the satellite classroom under the supervision of one of their parents.  Students in grades 6-12 attend classes three days per week on MWF and are at home in the satellite classroom the remaining two days.

The primary role of the teacher is to model a humble, thriving life of faith in Jesus Christ and to encourage students to pursue their own faith under the nurture of the family at home.   A teacher will love students by sharing passion for the subject, thorough planning, timely feedback, and creative classroom engagement.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree and/or advanced degree with strong administrative skills
