Position Description
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with members of the Human Resources Department to maximize efficiency and organization within the department.
- Support internal and external human resources related inquiries or requests from employees and vendors.
- Assist with the talent acquisition process, including organizing job postings on various platforms and reviewing applications for communication to managers.
- Create offer letters for new hires and returning faculty/staff members.
- Create and update job descriptions for faculty and staff, as requested.
- Assist with the review and update of CDA policies and procedures, as requested.
- Maintain departmental files in the electronic HRIS and physical filing system.
- Complete administrative elements of the new employee onboarding process, including ordering name tag, assigning required training, reference checks, background checks, and filing required paperwork.
- Communicate benefit offerings to newly hired and eligible employees, ensuring they receive all related documentation to make an informed decision.
- Complete administrative elements of the offboarding process.
- Assist in the day-to day functions related to benefits plans, including handling phone and email inquiries, benefit deduction research and adjustments.
- Organize and issue quarterly and yearly performance evaluations to employees, as requested.
- Liaison for the Athletic Directors and the Human Resources Department.
- Assist in all job offerings for Athletics, sending onboarding paperwork and all necessary documentation to get all stipend coaches onboarded efficiently and effectively.
- Assist the Athletic Directors with their summer camp payouts for coaches.
- As one of the plan administrators for the 403b documentation, assist with all documentation in rollovers, transfers and cash disbursements.
- As one of the Payroll Administrators, make sure all timesheets are complete and processed.
- Update any necessary changes to payroll in payroll notes. Review thoroughly before payroll is submitted.
- Work with Paycom for any changes to improve the HRIS experience for the employees and the Human Resources department.
- Perform the annual Affordable Care Act audit in January and make any changes necessary for employees throughout the year.
- Assist in gathering all documentation for the annual 403 b and workers compensation audits.
- Assist in planning monthly lunches/gatherings for the district office employees.
- Other duties, as requested by the Director of Human Resources.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the general principles and practices of human resources management and employment law.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, rules and regulations governing employment practices.
- Knowledge of HR Information Systems (HRIS), including Paycom or similar application.
- Skilled in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and MS Outlook.
- Skilled in delivering high quality, accurate work with attention to detail.
- Skilled in time management with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Skilled in planning and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to organize thoughts, ideas, and work in a way that is structured and understandable.
- Ability to build and maintain effective and professional relationships with employees and constituents.
- Ability to present a positive and professional image of Coram Deo Academy.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, required.
- 3-5 years of progressively developing responsibilities within a Human Resources environment, required.
- Experience with school environment/non-profit/social services in an HR capacity, preferred.
SHRM-CP/PHR, preferred.
