Grammar School Teacher

Position Description

Covenant Classical Christian School located in Columbia, South Carolina is growing and we are seeking applicants for a Grammar School teaching position. CCCS serves students from kindergarten through twelfth grade and is accredited by the Association of Classical Christian Schools.

We are eager to welcome a teacher who is committed to a distinctly Christ-centered and classical education and who desires to join a faculty marked by joyful scholarship, thoughtful instruction, and faithful discipleship. Prior experience in classical Christian education is preferred; however, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a teachable spirit and a genuine desire to grow in classical pedagogy and practice.

Minimum Requirements
· Agreement with Covenant Classical Christian School’s Statement of Faith
· Bachelor’s degree or higher
· Commitment to obtaining ACCS teacher certification during employment at Covenant Classical Christian School
· Ability to obtain a pastoral recommendation affirming regular participation in a local church in agreement with our Statement of Faith
