Humanities Teacher

Position Description

DVCS, an academically vibrant classical Christian school, seeks to add an upper school humanities teacher to teach American Literature along with an argumentation and debate elective. Experience teaching literature to high school students is preferred, as is experience and facility with effective pedagogical methods including but not limited to Socratic discussion. Our school competes in public forum debate, but there would be flexibility to expand into Lincoln-Douglas or policy style debates.

This is currently intended as a part-time role, but could expand to full-time for the right candidate.
