Director of Advancement

Position Description

Greenville Classical Academy partners with Christian parents in the education of their children by providing a classical, Christian education solidly grounded in God’s Word and the Protestant tradition. The Director of Advancement will develop and maintain relationships with all members of the GCA community as well as the broader community, to continually promote GCA’s mission and vision. In addition, the Director of Advancement will manage GCA’s annual giving program as well as specific initiatives, and will manage donor cultivation, solicitation, record keeping and gift processing. The Director of Advancement will also work closely with other members of the administrative team in furthering GCA’s position in the community through print materials and media. Any candidate must be a firm believer in the Christian faith and demonstrate active membership in the ministry of a local Christ-centered, bible-believing church. Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in nonprofit or business administration or similar fields, with experience in fundraising and development.
