Grammar School Principal

Position Description

Greenville Classical Academy partners with Christian parents in the education of their children by providing a classical, Christian education solidly grounded in God’s Word and the Protestant tradition. The grammar school principal will support the head of school in addition to leading and supporting the grammar school faculty and staff (from K4-5th grade). The ideal candidate will have teaching and administrative experience in the classical tradition, will foster a positive, vibrant learning environment that encourages wonder in the minds of students while embodying an attitude of scholé and restful learning, and will have a desire to mentor grammar school teachers. Candidates must exhibit a love for students and their families alongside a desire to serve them through excellent work and quality communication, and must embrace the mission and vision of Greenville Classical Academy. Any candidate must be a firm believer in the Christian faith and demonstrate active membership in the ministry of a local Christ-centered, bible-believing church. Qualifications include an undergraduate degree, with advanced coursework and a master’s degree in educational leadership a plus.
