Position Description

Nestled in Kenai, Alaska, we at Kenai Classical School are not just witnessing incredible landscapes and abundant wildlife. We are pioneering classical Christian education in Alaska and experiencing exciting growth.

From our inception with 10 students, Kenai Classical has flourished to serve 42 students, expanding to include elementary classes this academic year. We’re now seeking a Director/Head of School to lead this growing educational community.

The role encompasses principal responsibilities, financial management, human resources, teacher development, and community building. A successful candidate should be able to teach in addition to his/her administrative duties.

Qualifications include a strong commitment to Christ-centered education, experience in spiritual and academic formation, effective organizational leadership, the ability to articulate classical Christian education philosophy, and excellence in teaching.

Salary range: $65,000-95,000 DOE, $5,000 health benefits, and $5,000 relocation.
